What is the weight limit of the Alpha electric cycles?

You get a 250W motor and a top speed of 25 km/h, keeping the Alpha electric cycle within India's electric bicycle rules.
What is the battery range on a single charge?
Alpha electric cycles cover up to 60 km with pedal assist, in ideal conditions.
How long does the Alpha take to charge?
A standard charger takes 3-5 hours, depending on battery capacity. The battery charges using any regular wall outlet through the charging port on the cycle. On removable-battery models such as the Alpha M, you can also take the battery indoors and charge it using any regular wall outlet.
Can you ride the Alpha electric cycle on public roads in India?
Yes. The Alpha electric cycle is designed for road use in India and is classified as an electric bicycle, not a scooter. You should still follow local traffic rules, wear a helmet, and check any city-specific requirements before riding.
Do I need a license to ride the Alpha electric cycle?
No. The Alpha eBike does not require a license, registration, or insurance in India.
Can I attach a rear rack or basket to the Alpha eBike?
Yes, the Alpha is compatible with rear racks and baskets. We also sell our own official Virtus accessories, including a rear carrier and mudguards, available on our website.
Can I ride the Alpha electric cycle if the battery runs out?
Yes. The Alpha eBike functions like a normal bicycle without power.
How does an electric cycle work?

On our removable-battery models, the battery can be replaced, and we also offer higher-capacity battery upgrade options for extended range.

Keep the battery charged regularly, avoid letting it drain completely too often, and store it in a cool, dry place. Always use the original charger, and if the vehicle is not in use for a long time, charge the battery periodically to keep it healthy.
What should I do if my battery is not charging properly?

If the battery still does not charge, try another outlet and let it cool down if it was recently used.
